Tijana Cresenzi – Dream Team student at the UX/UI Design Academy

Meet Tijana Cresenzi – Dream Team student at the UX/UI Design Academy for November 2022.

Name: Tijana Cresenzi
Profession: Graduated professor of French Language and Literature
Academy: UX/UI Design Academy
Why UX/UI: Because it is the perfect blend of analytics and creativity.
What motivates you to constantly learn: The dynamic nature of this profession motivates me, along with the skills you need to have, which are a combination of multiple disciplines, so there is always something new to learn or improve upon. But above all, I am most motivated by the enthusiasm of teamwork and the successful projects that result from it. (Those who know, know♡)

The most interesting thing you learned at the Academy: Seeing the bigger picture of the entire UX and UI process, as well as understanding how they are interconnected and how they function together. Among the modules, the most interesting facts I learned were from the instructor Zlatan Mujčin, in his modules Storytelling and UX in the Real World.

Favorite module and why: I have two favorites. One is Tools, with instructor Martin Tenovski, because that’s when I first started designing in Figma, and it was a very exciting moment for me. Also, the module where we learned UI, with instructor Aleksandar Nofitoski, where we worked on our first real project, which I worked on with great pleasure.

Which instructor left the biggest impression on you: Maja Mitrović in the Initiation and Discovery modules, because she was the first instructor who introduced me to this field when I was just starting, with little prior knowledge, and I was also the most excited about beginning this new experience. However, I am satisfied with all the instructors so far; they are all ready to share their knowledge and are available for all students at any time.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years: I want to constantly learn and improve, be successful in this career, and let the projects themselves be proof of that.

Hobbies: Biking, reading books, and music.

Favorite book: The Master and Margarita – Mikhail Bulgakov

Favorite quote: “Don’t panic, organize!” & “Think for yourself, question authority.”
