Overview
a vintage gem in town
Our client is a beloved, local boutique nestled in the heart of Debar Maalo, Skopje, known for curating vintage treasures and locally-made sustainable fashion.
the challenge
With a passionate drive to expand their brand and offer more to their customers, they reached out to me to create a dedicated e-commerce store that would showcase their products in a way that Instagram simply couldn’t.

Process
from instagram to a custom app
The challenge was to create a space where vintage lovers and eco-conscious shoppers could browse effortlessly, with clear product segmentation between vintage and local brands.
data, data, data
I began by conducting an in-depth interview with the primary contact, Vera Angelakova, to fully understand the brand's vision, pain points, and expectations. We discussed their current challenges with Instagram sales and the need for a more structured e-commerce solution. I also reviewed the project brief to outline goals, stylistic preferences, and key deadlines.
what the shopping gals say
To ensure the e-commerce design would resonate with Igraliste’s audience, I conducted informal interviews with customers and users. This included understanding their frustrations with existing shopping platforms and what they look for in a vintage store.
visiting the crime scene
I visited the physical store in Debar Maalo, Skopje, to immerse myself in the store's atmosphere and visual identity. While there, I took photographs of the products, the store layout, and key design elements. This helped in creating a digital version of the store that would maintain its authentic "Igralishte vibe.”
ux insights
To further refine the e-commerce strategy for Igraliste Skopje, I conducted a competitive analysis. I examined several local and international vintage stores with an online presence, focusing on their product presentation, user experience, payment methods, and delivery options.
Using the insights from customers and on-site observations, I started the user research phase. I focused on understanding the primary personas—college-aged customers looking for alternative, eco-friendly fashion, and secondary personas like older, style-conscious shoppers who value vintage and sustainable clothing.
product listing
This page is designed to provide users with all the essential information they need to make informed purchasing decisions while also creating an engaging shopping experience.
Customers faced difficulties navigating through the limited posts, often encountering incomplete information and a lack of categorization.
Each product card includes essential information, such as a thumbnail image, name, price, and category tags, enabling quick decision-making. Users can filter products by type (vintage, local brands) and sort them by price or popularity.
product details
The Product Display Page is a dedicated section of the Igraliste Skopje e-commerce website where each item is showcased with high-quality images, detailed descriptions, pricing information, and specific tags (e.g., Vintage, Sustainable, Locally Produced).
Product details were often limited, leading to confusion about item specifications, such as condition, dimensions, and material.
Each product is accompanied by a detailed description that outlines its features, dimensions, and condition. Additionally, the page includes related products and a clear shipping policy, ensuring customers have all the information they need at their fingertips.
admin panel
The Admin Panel is a centralized management interface for the Igraliste Skopje e-commerce website, allowing the store team to easily manage products, orders, customers, and website content.
Previously, managing inventory and sales through Instagram was cumbersome and disorganized.
I developed an Admin Panel that simplifies the management of the online store. This feature allows staff to easily update product information, track inventory levels, and process orders with just a few clicks.
Outcome
The Kantina project was an exciting, fast-paced journey where we had just 48 hours to design a website that captured the heart of this unique restaurant. Kantina’s slogan, "We embrace diversity," inspired us to create a digital space that brings together its eclectic clientele and showcases everything the restaurant stands for.
